Green Goddess Dressing

Ingredients
• 1 ripe avocado
• 2 cloves fresh garlic
• Juice of 1 medium size lemon
• 20-100 ml Filtered water
• pinch Celtic salt (or to taste)
• Optional Fresh parsley, basil, mint, coriander (careful with this as a lot of people dislike)
House made salad dressings are the new jam! If you look at any store bought ingredients you would not be eating that on your lovely fresh salad!
1
Spoon Avocado from the skin into the blender/thermomix

2
Add everything into the blender, starting with 20ml water and add depending on consistency. I like it to be pourable from a jug, so add around 100ml

The humble Avocado for Fertility, Reproductive Health & Hormonal Nourishment

According to the Doctrine of Signatures, the appearance, shape, and qualities of a plant indicate the organs or systems it benefits.

For the avocado –

  • Its pear like shape resembles the womb and female reproductive organs.

  • The seed inside symbolises fertility and potential new life.

Not only does it give my Green Goddess dressing that luscious texture without needing processed oils or thickeners, it’s also a nutritional powerhouse

1. Healthy fats

Avocados are rich in monounsaturated fats (mainly oleic acid) —which  support healthy cholesterol levels and reduce inflammation.

2. Fuel for hormones & brain health

Good fats = happy hormones. Avocados provide the raw material your body needs to make sex hormones like estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. Also rich in fat soluble vitamin E which is great for skin, mood and brain clarity.

3. Packed with potassium & fibre

One avocado has more potassium than a banana. Plus, the soluble and insoluble fibre helps regulate blood sugar, promote healthy digestion fuel for your gut bacteria (microbiome).

4. Skin health

Rich in Vitamin E, C and phytonutrients (compounds found in plants), avocado nourishes your skin from the inside out.

 5. The perfect whole food thickener

Avocado adds creaminess without needing mayo, dairy, or nasty toxic seed oils such as canola, rape seed, sunflower seed, “vegetable” oil.

I talk more about these oils here https://nurturer.com.au/metabolism-detox-perth-seed-oils-hormone-health/

Serve with
• Green salad, roast free range chicken, on eggs, go wild!
